This is the first blog ive ever done and yes its about movies, but not just the actual watching, this is an open invite to chat and remember those memories that came with them, the first time you saw it, who you went with, when did you see them, all the reasons a movie stays with you forever.
So, lets get the ball rolling and ill pick one now, lets see who doesn't remember this...
This i picked as I'm sure theres not many that haven't seen this, its a movie that to anyone over the age of fourteen at the time of release, it was an instant classic, it was also a time when movies weren't as mass produced the way they are now, when good movies came along alot less often so when they did, they embedded deeper than they seem to now.
Ferris Bueller made it all look so easy, the youth now are no different to then, with dramas and angst and responsibilities so its a welcome release and a sigh of relief with thrown in laid back humour for any generation. Matthew Broderick has never bettered this character and it would be impossible to remake.
